Jana learned the art of sewing at just 14 years of age from her Grandmother, a Professional Tailor herself, and has been mastering her craft for over 35 years.

From constructing, re-designing and performing intricate alterations, she has quite literally seen and sewn it all.

The story of Sunward Sewing & Design is deeply rooted in her passion to use her talents to help her community. She believes that Austin’s busy professionals deserve to look and feel great in clothes that fit, with the convenience of a concierge-style and personalized service.

The name ‘Sunward’ reflects her love of sunflowers, which symbolize resiliency and optimism, values both she and her clients hold dear.
